The electronic hardware currently under development is designed to precisely monitor rainwater tanks, primarily targeting residential households that rely on these tanks as their primary water source. The system comprises a sensor unit equipped with a water level sensor and a base station that receives and displays the collected data. Both units are powered by standard batteries, ensuring ease of deployment and maintenance. Communication between the sensor and the base station is facilitated through LoRa technology, which provides reliable and long-range data transmission. This solution is specifically tailored to meet the needs of households dependent on rainwater, offering a user-friendly and energy-efficient monitoring system.
